  Received the promotional leaflet yesterday, went in today specifically for the advertised meal deals — and apparently everything was already “sold out”. Convenient. Staff had absolutely no interest in helping, just kept saying “if you can see it, we have it; if not, it’s gone.” No explanation, no assistance, no basic customer service. I literally had to guess which items were included in the deal because nobody could be bothered to show me properly. What’s the point of pushing promotions if you don’t even stock enough products for customers the next day? Feels more like bait advertising to drag people into the shop. Now I understand why this place has such poor reviews. The attitude from staff is consistently miserable and unhelpful. I usually only come here for parcels, but after actually shopping here properly for once, I won’t be coming back. Tesco Express and Local…are only a few steps away and honestly worth the walk. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

  Miserable and rude. Never say thanks or please when asking for money or when they receive it, despite saying it to them in the first instance. Just a depressing experience every time. If you can't be slightly happy doing your job, I dont think customer facing role is suitable. Pathetic excuse of a local community store. Avoid.
